Molly & Lucy

It is not often we get a picture of Lucy with Molly. Lucy is 16 years old now and sleeps a lot, although when awake she is surprisingly active. Lucy likes to cool off in the stream. Molly is tentatively investigating why Lucy likes the stream so much. Molly can't really understand it! Molly doesn't like to get her paws too wet!

Molly & the plant pot!

Molly was so funny today, she found a plant pot all by herself and had a great time with it. She threw it up in the air and the was running around with it stuck over her nose.

She was sometimes a bit quick for the camera - o
ften a complete blur...!

She was so proud of herself.... 'look what I've got Tazzy...!'

Molly (12 weeks) & Tazzy

Molly is certainly growing fast.....she is on 3 meals a day and eats every morsel! (& Tazzy's if he gives her the chance!).

She went to the vets yesterday for her final vaccination & last of the bi-monthly worming tablets (which are now monthly until she is 6 months). We need to wait at least another 7 days before going to fun doggie places.... where she can have a good sniff around. In the meantime, I guess as she grows the carrying will probably scale down to a few minutes at any one time.

Molly weighs in @ 13.5 kg's and now stands 17 inches tall (to the shoulder).

Tazzy weighs in @ 64.2 kg's and stands 33 and a half inches tall. Tazzy also had his booster and a general check up.

Both are in fine feckle.

Molly & Tazzy enjoying time together in the sun - seems to be one of their favourite things to do.

Tazzy will
even take his bed outside himself if I haven't already done it for him!

Molly 11 weeks

Molly has been getting out and about a bit. We visited my brother last week and Molly had a great game with his son & friend.

Molly has also enjoyed visits to the large pet store and garden centre this week as well, although I am finding it very hard to carry her for any length of time now. I managed about 10 minutes at the garden centre and then had to sit down for a coffee.... (poor me....lol). Molly gets lots of fusses from everyone she meets and certainly loves the attention, although I get the distinct impression that she would rather be down on the ground having a good sniff and doing doggy things!

Molly has not been car sick again. When I go out on my own with her I settle her on the front seat and she is happy to be close to me (although not the safest way I know but she settles very well like this). When going out with my hubbie, she settles on my lap. The 'shussh' time command is extremely useful for settling her down.

When we think she feels completely at ease with the car and grows a bit bigger, we will look towards settling her in the back with Tazzy. At the moment she is still a little anxious and small, I am a little concerned that Tazzy might squash her. So, in a few months we will give it a go. I am sure she will be OK, especially when she's able to go to nice doggie places with her big brother... and have loads of fun!
